This type of "blaming" thinking has become extremely common in our culture, when something doesn't happen according to our expectations, we start blaming others and never take responsibilities for our actions. Surely, there are times when people/circumstances contribute to our problems but it's up to us that how we react in the situation. Just ask yourself, "will this matter a year from now?" The way to be happy is to let it go. Life is more fun and much easier to manage when you stop blaming others. Give it a try and see the magic.

Be a good listener.
How do you feel when someone interrupts you? Obviously, you won’t like it. Remind yourself, before a conversation begins, to be patient and wait. Allow the person to finish speaking before you begin. The people you communicate with would feel much more relaxed around you when they feel heard. In this way, you would begin to enjoy your conversation with the person you are speaking to and he/she will have so much fun because you are so much more “present” as you are listening so carefully, the person would feel more relaxed around you.

Be yourself.
Do you know what happens when you decide to stop worrying about what other people think of you? You get to dance, sing, laugh loudly, write, paint and create. You get to be yourself. You know what, the fact is you loose some and win some. It is not necessary that everyone will like you, however good you are! Everyone thinks differently. Some will find good in you and some will find flaws. Some people won’t like you for no reason at all. Other would laugh, mock or point out flaws. But it should not bother you at all. Remember, as long as you are happy with yourself, nothing matters. Be true to yourself. Be your own best friend. You will never be disappointed.
